This expression underscores the difficulty associated with starting something new or unfamiliar, primarily because of the uncertainty and lack of experience. However, pushing through this initial resistance demands both determination and motivation. Once this initial obstacle is overcome, subsequent steps tend to flow more smoothly as momentum builds, accompanied by growing confidence in one’s actions.
