Hi, Rise&Inspire family!
Today I came across an important message that could save someone’s life.
If you’re ever alone and experience the signs of a heart attack—like chest pain that spreads to your arm or jaw, and a feeling of pressure or stabbing in the chest—it’s crucial to act fast. Here’s what to do:
1. Recognize the Symptoms: If you feel a sudden chest pain spreading to your arm and jaw, and your heart feels like it’s racing, it could be a heart attack.
2. Cough for Survival: If you’re alone and experiencing heart attack symptoms, you can help yourself by coughing repeatedly and forcefully. Here’s the technique:
Take a deep breath before each cough.
Cough vigorously every second, and continue until help arrives or until you feel your heart rate normalizing.
3. How It Works: Deep breathing gives oxygen to your lungs, while coughing helps stimulate blood circulation and can help your heart to maintain a steady rhythm.
4. Seek Immediate Medical Help: Even if you manage to regain control of your heartbeat, always call emergency services or get to a hospital as soon as possible.
Cardiologists say that sharing this message could save a life. By reblogging this, you’re not just sharing information—you could be saving someone’s life. So, please, take a moment to share this with your friends and followers.
