I use it to keep my mental acuity on track. Blogging pushes me to retain specific skills that I would otherwise neglect. It is also a great way to connect to new people and retain acquaintances, broadening contacts who can provide me with information I would otherwise never have been aware of. It prevents me from staying in my own little world and pushes my constraints to accept others’ limits.
