Appointed as one-man commission for the Kerala State Beverages (M&M) Corporation Ltd., based on the 241st Board decision (Letter No. KSBC/SEC/241/2021-22, dated 22.01.2022).
Acted as a Consultant for the Committee constituted under G.O (Rt.) No: 770/2021/ID dated 26.07.2021, tasked with scrutinizing Acts and Rules relevant to the business community and citizens, with the aim of improving ease of doing business in Kerala.
Served as a One-Man Commission for the Kerala State Sports Council.
Engaged as a Consultant by the Kerala State Commission to recommend criteria for reservations for the economically weaker sections (EWSs) in Kerala (G.O (M.s) No.5/2019/P & ARD, Dated 12.03.2019).
Appointed as a Consultant for the Sprinkler Inquiry Committee (G.O (M.S) No.227/2020/GAD, dated 23.11.2020) to investigate and study the issues surrounding the engagement of M/S Sprinkle. INC. for data analysis.

Received the prestigious Kerala State e-Governance Award-2008, instituted by the Government of Kerala, in recognition of my inspirational role and leadership.
Nominated for “the Prime Minister’s Award for Excellence in Public Administration” for the year 2007-08 (Govt. letter No.18509/Admn. 1(4)/07/Law, dated 20-08-2007).
Awarded the “Good Service Entry” in acknowledgment of the meritorious service rendered (G.O.(Rt)No.290/05/Law, dated 1-4-2005).
International and National Training Programs
Participated in the “Global Intellectual Property Academy (GIPA) Enforcement Program” at the Global Intellectual Property Academy, United States Patent and Trademark Office, Headquarters in Alexandria, Virginia, near Washington D.C, USA. I was the only officer from the Government of Kerala selected for this international program on IP Enforcement.
Attended the National Training Program on Social Conflict Analysis at The Indian Institute of Public Administration, New Delhi.
Participated in the National Training Program on the Implementation of the Cartagena Protocol on Biosafety in India at the National Law School of India University, Bangalore.
Completed the Budget & Financial Management program at the Institute of Management in Government, Thiruvananthapuram.

Presented a paper on recent IPR developments in India at Madison East, Global Intellectual Property Academy, Alexandria, USA, on 20-08-2009.
Presented a paper on the focal theme of Intellectual Property Rights and Development at the 22nd Kerala Science Congress held in Peechi, Thrissur, on 29-01-2010.

Published a paper titled “Intellectual Property Rights and Development: A National Perspective” in the Compendium on the focal theme of the Kerala Science Congress-2010, published by the Kerala State Council for Science Technology and Environment (Pages 43-46).

Teaching, Research & Experience
Served as an Assistant Professor in the Collegiate Education Service from 1976 to 1978.
Conducted research in population studies (Demography) at Annamalai University, Chithambaram, in 1978.

Noteworthy Contributions in Government Service
Played a substantial role in the preparation and release of the Intellectual Property Rights Policy, 2008, for the State of Kerala. Kerala is the only state in our country to have released an IPR Policy (vide G.O(Rt) No.815 2004/Law, dated 4.8.2004).
Coordinated the Traditional Knowledge Digital Library-Kerala project at the Directorate of Ayurvedic Medical Education as a member of the Patent Cell and the technical Committee.
Independently prepared the Citizen’s Charter for the Law Department.
Assisted the Government of Kerala in resolving issues related to the implementation of the Smart City project during critical times.
Implemented e-Governance Projects for the Law Department in technical association with TCS and Kelton, including projects such as Law (Library) Automation, Law Portal, Modernization of Law Department, Court Cases Monitoring Solution for Law Officers, and Digitization of Rare Law Books.
Coordinated the implementation of legal service schemes in Kerala under the Kerala Legal Benefit Fund, including the scheme of supplying Litigant Benches to all Court Centers in Kerala.
Guided and arranged training programs for the members of the Law Department as the Training Manager under the State Training Policy.
Associated with the Law Reforms Committee constituted under G.O(Rt) No.1054/2001/Law, dated 26-11-2001, headed by Justice Krishna Ayer.
Initiated computerization in the Agricultural Workers’ Welfare Fund Board as the Chairman, fulfilling the long-pending program of the Board.
Served as a Director in the Govt. Secretariat Staff Co-operative Society Ltd., elected through a multi-corner contest, for two terms.
