How Does God Protect His Prophets and Leaders Today?

The Divine Shield Over God’s Anointed and Prophets
Living in Harmony with God’s Will: A Reflection on 1 Chronicles 16:22

𝕎𝕒𝕜𝕖-𝕌𝕡 ℂ𝕒𝕝𝕝

“Do not touch My anointed ones, And do not harm My prophets.” (1 Chronicles 16:22)

This verse from 1 Chronicles 16:22 underscores the sacred role of those chosen by God for His mission and the respect they are due. It invites us to reflect deeply on how we honour God’s appointed servants and align ourselves with His divine purpose.

Understanding the Context

This verse forms part of a hymn of thanksgiving sung by King David as the Ark of the Covenant was brought to Jerusalem. The hymn celebrates God’s faithfulness, emphasizing His care and guidance for His people and their leaders.

The term “anointed ones” refers to individuals specifically chosen by God—like kings, priests, and prophets—who were entrusted with spiritual leadership. David’s words remind us of the covenantal bond between God and His people. By commanding respect for His anointed, God reinforces the sacred responsibility of supporting those called to lead and serve in His name.

Who Are God’s Anointed?

In biblical times, the anointed included figures such as David, Aaron, and Elijah. Today, this extends to pastors, missionaries, spiritual leaders, and anyone carrying out God’s work.

This verse also calls us to recognize God’s anointing in others. It encourages us to honour those dedicated to serving God and reminds us of the divine purpose within ourselves.

Lessons for Today

This scripture teaches valuable lessons relevant to our lives:

  1. Respect for Leadership
We are encouraged to respect those entrusted with spiritual responsibilities. This respect goes beyond mere actions—it involves refraining from harmful criticism or doubt and instead offering support and encouragement.
  2. Protection Through Obedience
Just as God protects His anointed, He promises to care for those who walk in His ways. By following His teachings, we place ourselves under His guidance and protection.
  3. Embracing Our Calling
While the verse highlights specific anointed individuals, it also invites us to reflect on our purpose. Through the Holy Spirit, every believer is called to contribute to God’s work in unique ways.

Meditation and Prayer

Take a moment to meditate on this verse:
Lord, we thank You for the leaders and servants You have chosen to guide us. Help us to respect and support them wholeheartedly. Strengthen us to embrace our calling and walk in obedience to Your will. Amen.

Wake-Up Call from His Excellency Rt. Rev. Dr. Selvister Ponnumuthan

His Excellency Rt. Rev. Dr. Selvister Ponnumuthan shares this insight:
“To harm God’s anointed is not merely a physical act—it includes the doubts, negative words, or lack of faith we may express toward those entrusted with God’s mission. Let us choose words and actions that uplift and strengthen their work, becoming instruments of encouragement in their journey.”

Conclusion

The message of 1 Chronicles 16:22 extends beyond the protection of God’s anointed. It is a call to each of us to respect His divine plan and honour those placed in spiritual leadership. When we align our actions with this truth, we deepen our connection to God’s purpose, fostering love, grace, and a shared commitment to His mission.

🔥 Good Morning! Let us begin this day with gratitude and reverence for God’s chosen ones. Praise be to Jesus Christ! 🙏🏻

Tears That Speak

Exploring Lamentations 3:49-50

Wake-Up Call: A Reflection on Lamentations 3:49-50

“My eyes will flow without ceasing, without respite, until the Lord from heaven looks down and sees.”

Lamentations 3: 49-50

Purpose: To explore the meaning of Lamentations 3:49-50 in a question-answer format, addressing common questions and providing practical insights.

1. What is the context of Lamentations 3:49-50?

Lamentations is a book in the Old Testament written by the prophet Jeremiah during a period of deep sorrow after the fall of Jerusalem. These verses express the relentless grief of the prophet as he witnesses the suffering of his people. He highlights a posture of waiting and faith, believing that God in heaven will eventually see and respond to their plight.

2. Why does the author emphasize tears and ceaseless weeping?

The imagery of tears symbolizes profound sorrow and unyielding prayer. The unceasing weeping reflects the depth of pain and the persistence of hope that God will intervene. Jeremiah’s tears demonstrate:

  • Compassion: For his suffering people.
  • Faith: A hope that God sees and acts with justice.
  • Persistence: Encouraging believers to remain steadfast in prayer despite hardships.

3. How can these verses apply to our daily life?

These verses remind us to turn to God during times of distress, trusting that He sees our struggles. They encourage us to:

  • Persist in Faith: Just as Jeremiah continued to hope, we can find strength in unwavering prayer.
  • Empathize with Others: Be compassionate and support those in need.
  • Trust in Divine Timing: God will respond, even if the timing is not immediate.

4. How do we interpret God’s “looking down from heaven”?

This phrase emphasizes God’s omnipresence and omniscience. It reassures us that God sees every tear, hears every prayer, and remains involved in human affairs. It is a call to:

  • Seek His Guidance: Trust in His wisdom and justice.
  • Surrender Our Burdens: Acknowledge His power and plan.

5. What practical steps can we take to live out this message?

  1. Engage in Prayer: Set aside time daily to pour out your heart before God.
  2. Practice Compassion: Support others in their suffering.
  3. Journal Your Struggles: Write down your emotions and prayers as a form of spiritual reflection.
  4. Meditate on Scripture: Reflect on promises of hope and deliverance, such as Psalm 34:17.

6. How does this verse connect with spiritual growth?

Persistent weeping and prayer symbolize surrender and dependence on God. These actions:

  • Deepen our relationship with God.
  • Foster humility and reliance on His grace.
  • Help us grow in patience and endurance.

7. What does Bishop Selvister Ponnumuthan say about verses like these?

In his uplifting messages, His Excellency encourages believers to embrace trials as opportunities for faith. He often reminds us that tears shed in prayer are not in vain—they prepare the way for divine blessings and transformation.

A Guided Meditation and Prayer

Meditation

  • Close your eyes.
  • Visualize your burdens as heavy clouds.
  • Imagine God’s light breaking through, symbolizing His response to your prayers.

Prayer
“Lord, my tears flow endlessly in moments of despair. Yet, I place my hope in You, trusting that You see and hear me from heaven. Grant me strength to endure, faith to persist, and love to extend compassion to others. Amen.”

Living in God’s Image

Finding Dignity and Value in Ourselves and Others

Created in His Image: A Reflection on Genesis 1:27

☕ Wake-Up Call ☕

“So God created humankind in his image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.”
Genesis 1:27

🔥 Good Morning! Praise be to Jesus Christ! 🙏

Embracing Our Divine Identity

Genesis 1:27 is one of the most profound verses in the Bible, highlighting that we are created in the image of God. This powerful truth not only speaks to our origins but also defines our inherent value, dignity, and purpose. When we understand that each of us bears the imprint of our Creator, it transforms the way we view ourselves and those around us.

What Does it Mean to Be Created in God’s Image?

To be created in God’s image doesn’t imply that we physically resemble God, but rather that we reflect aspects of His nature. Just as God is creative, relational, and compassionate, we too carry these traits within us. In the complexities of life, we can find solace in knowing that we are more than mere chance; we are intentional creations of a loving God.

This verse also acts as a powerful affirmation that both men and women are equally valued and cherished by God. Created as complementary beings, we each bring unique gifts and insights that contribute to the tapestry of humanity.

Living Out Our Divine Calling

Being made in the image of God comes with a responsibility to mirror His love, kindness, and justice in the world. Each day offers us an opportunity to embody the virtues of our Creator and be a blessing to others.

The  following are some ways we can live out this calling:

(1)Reflect God’s love through acts of kindness and empathy towards others.

(2)Appreciate the uniqueness in others, recognizing that every person reflects a facet of God’s image.

(3)Strive to grow spiritually, emotionally, and mentally, continually aligning ourselves with God’s teachings.

A Guided Meditation

As you meditate on this verse, take a few deep breaths, close your eyes, and let these words sink into your heart:

“I am fearfully and wonderfully made, created in the image of God. May my life reflect His love and grace, bringing light to the world.”

Prayer

Dear Lord,
Thank you for creating me in Your image. Help me to embrace my identity and purpose, recognizing the divine within myself and others. May I live each day honouring You, shining Your light, and spreading Your love? Amen.

Wake-Up Call Message from His Excellency, Rt. Rev. Dr. Selvister Ponnumuthan

“Each of us carries a divine spark, a sacred reminder of our Creator’s love. Let us honour this gift by treating ourselves and others with the utmost respect and kindness. May we strive to be reflections of God’s grace in a world that needs His light.”

As you go through your day, remember that you are uniquely and wonderfully made. Let this truth empower you to live with purpose, radiate kindness, and extend love to everyone around you. Embrace your divine identity, and let your life be a testament to God’s glory.

May this reflection inspire you to see yourself and others through the lens of divine love and purpose?

The Bread of Life: Nourishment for Eternity

Have you ever wondered what it means to be truly nourished? What if the food you need most isn’t something that fills your stomach but something that fills your soul?

The Bread of Life

Today’s reflection is on a powerful message from the Gospel of John, where Jesus declares, “I am the bread of life. I am the living bread that came down from heaven. Whoever eats of this bread will live forever, and the bread that I will give for the life of the world is my flesh” (John 6: 48 & 51).

These words speak to a profound spiritual truth, one that goes far beyond our physical needs and reaches deep into the core of our faith and existence.

The Bread of Life: A Divine Invitation

Imagine being offered something that could satisfy you forever, something that promises life, not just for today but for all eternity. That’s what Jesus is offering in this passage. He is not simply talking about physical bread, but something much greater—Himself. He’s inviting us into a relationship that feeds our souls, quenches our spiritual thirst, and leads us to eternal life.

Have you ever felt that empty longing inside, even when everything seems perfect on the outside? That emptiness is a reminder that our hearts and souls crave more than the world can offer. We need the nourishment that comes from God alone.

Jesus presents Himself as the ultimate source of that nourishment. By accepting Him—the living bread—we are accepting a life filled with His presence, love, and grace. But what does that mean for us today? How do we partake in this “living bread” in our daily lives?

The Spiritual Feast: How Do We Consume the Bread of Life?

Let’s break it down. Jesus offering Himself as the bread of life means He wants to be at the center of everything we do. It means embracing His teachings, living by His example, and making room for Him in our hearts daily.

Consider this:

  • In moments of doubt, when life feels heavy and uncertain, Jesus offers Himself as the bread that sustains us through faith.
  • When we’re struggling with guilt or shame, He provides nourishment through His forgiveness, reminding us that His body was given for us.
  • In times of joy and celebration, He is the reason for our thanksgiving, the bread that brings life and joy that lasts beyond fleeting moments.

We partake in this bread by spending time in prayer, reading the scriptures, and by living a life that reflects Christ’s love for others.

Guided Meditation: Feeding Your Soul

Take a moment now to still your heart. Close your eyes and breathe deeply. Picture yourself sitting at a table, a humble table with simple bread laid out before you. But this is no ordinary bread—it’s the bread of life. As you reach out to take it, you realize that what you are receiving is not just physical sustenance, but the presence of Christ Himself.

Feel the warmth of His love surrounding you. Let go of your worries, your guilt, and your fears. In this moment, as you consume the bread, imagine the peace of Christ filling your heart, nourishing your soul in ways you didn’t even know you needed.

Now, let this nourishment guide you into a moment of prayer:

Prayer: “Lord Jesus, You are the bread of life, the one who came down from heaven to offer me eternal sustenance. I come to You today, seeking the nourishment only You can provide. Fill my soul with Your presence, and help me to remember that in You, I will never hunger or thirst again. Guide me to live by Your teachings and reflect Your love in all that I do. Thank You for the gift of life, and for offering Yourself so that I may live forever in Your grace. Amen.”

Reflection Questions:

  • What does it mean to you to receive Jesus as the bread of life?
  • In what areas of your life do you feel spiritually hungry or empty?
  • How can you make more room in your life to be nourished by Christ daily?

A Message from His Excellency, Rt. Rev. Dr. Selvister Ponnumuthan

In today’s morning message, His Excellency, the Rt. Rev. Dr. Selvister Ponnumuthan, Bishop of Punalur, reflected on the verses from John, reminding us that Jesus is the ultimate source of life and that His love and sacrifice are the greatest gifts we can ever receive. He encouraged us to embrace this truth and to allow Christ to be the center of our lives, especially during times of uncertainty and doubt.

He shared, “Each day we wake up, we are offered this bread of life. But we must choose to accept it. We must come to the table, humbly acknowledging our need for Jesus and allowing Him to fill the empty spaces within us. Only then can we experience true peace and fulfillment.”

Wake-Up Call: Embrace the Bread of Life Today

As you go about your day, remember that you are invited to partake in this eternal feast. Jesus is offering you His life, His love, and His grace—an endless supply of spiritual nourishment that will never run dry.

If you feel weary, lost, or in need of guidance, know that Jesus is the bread that will sustain you. His love is there for the taking, and all you need to do is come to Him.

So, what are you waiting for? The table is set, the bread is ready. All that’s left is for you to take and receive.

Call to Action: What areas of your life do you need spiritual nourishment in? How can you make more room for Christ to fill those spaces? Share your thoughts in the comments below and let’s encourage one another to embrace the bread of life in our daily walks.

Incorporate This into Your Spiritual Practice:

Consider making a habit of daily reflection on the “bread of life” that Jesus offers. Each morning, as you eat breakfast, remind yourself that just as your body needs food to thrive, your soul needs the presence of Christ. Let this awareness guide you throughout your day, and find moments to pause, reflect, and receive His peace.

Bonus Devotional Entry: Spend time this week reflecting on these verses from John. As you do, write down your thoughts and prayers. How is Jesus nourishing you spiritually? What changes might you need to make to ensure you’re coming to Him regularly for sustenance?

Let the bread of life be your guide, and allow His love to fill every part of your being.

Start Your Day with Grace: Reflecting on Psalms 119:17-18

Psalms 119:17-18: Meaning and Reflection

Verse 17: “Deal bountifully with your servant, so that I may live and observe your word.”
This verse is a humble plea for God’s grace. It expresses a deep longing for God’s favour, recognizing that life and obedience to God’s word are intertwined. The psalmist acknowledges that to truly live—both physically and spiritually—requires God’s abundant mercy. It is a reminder that our ability to follow God’s commandments comes not from our strength but from the grace that He bestows upon us.

Verse 18: “Open my eyes, so that I may behold wondrous things out of your law.
Here, the psalmist asks God to enlighten their understanding, to see beyond the surface of the written word and to grasp the profound truths within His law. This verse speaks to the necessity of divine revelation; it’s not enough to read the Scriptures, but we must ask God to open our eyes so that we can truly comprehend the wondrous things He has laid out for us. It is an invitation to seek a deeper, more intimate relationship with God through His word.

Meditation and Prayer

Meditation:

  1. Find a quiet place where you can sit comfortably and close your eyes. Take a few deep breaths, letting go of any tension or distractions. As you breathe in, imagine yourself being filled with God’s grace and love. As you breathe out, release any worries or concerns.
  2. Reflect on God’s Bounty: Picture yourself standing before a vast ocean, representing God’s boundless mercy. Imagine the waves gently washing over you, filling you with peace and strength. In this moment, ask God to deal bountifully with you, so that you may live fully in His presence and follow His word with a joyful heart.
  3. Open Your Spiritual Eyes: Visualize a door in front of you, representing the entrance to deeper understanding. As you approach, ask God to open your eyes to the wonders of His law. Imagine the door slowly opening, revealing a beautiful garden filled with light and life. Walk into this garden, feeling the warmth of God’s wisdom surrounding you. Spend a few moments in this place, asking God to reveal His truths to you.
  4. Gratitude and Commitment: Conclude your meditation by thanking God for His bountiful grace and the gift of His word. Commit to seek His guidance daily, asking Him to continuously open your eyes to the wonders of His teachings.

Prayer:

“Merciful Father,
You are the source of all life and wisdom. Deal bountifully with me, your servant, so that I may live in the fullness of your grace and observe your word with a heart filled with joy. Open my eyes, Lord, to the wondrous things in your law. Illuminate my path with your truth, and guide me in your ways. May your word be a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path, leading me closer to you each day. I surrender my heart, mind, and soul to your will, trusting in your boundless mercy. Amen.”

Wake-Up Call Message

His Excellency, the Rt. Rev. Dr. Selvister Ponnumuthan, Bishop of Punalur, often reminds us that the dawn of each new day is a gift from God, an opportunity to renew our commitment to His word and to seek His guidance. As we rise today, let us approach our Lord with the same humility and fervour as the psalmist in Psalms 119:17-18.

“Deal bountifully with your servant, so that I may live and observe your word. Open my eyes, so that I may behold wondrous things out of your law.”

In these words, we find a profound call to action. They remind us that our ability to live according to God’s will is not by our strength alone but through His abundant grace. This morning, as you step into the day ahead, carry with you the prayer that God may open your eyes—both physical and spiritual—so that you may see His wonders in every moment.

Let today be a day of renewed vision, where you seek out the beauty and wisdom in God’s law. May His grace flow abundantly in your life, enabling you to live fully and righteously in His sight. Remember, each morning is a new beginning, a fresh opportunity to deepen your relationship with our Creator. Let us embrace it with a heart full of gratitude and a spirit eager to learn and grow.

🔥🔥 GOOD MORNING, PRAISE BE TO JESUS CHRIST 🙏🏻🔥🔥

Conclusion:
Each morning, I draw inspiration from the uplifting messages of His Excellency, the Rt. Rev. Dr. Selvister Ponnumuthan, Bishop of Punalur in Kerala, India. Today’s blog post is profoundly influenced by his wisdom, and I hope it brings you the same inspiration it has given me. As you go about your day, may you carry with you the peace, wisdom, and strength that comes from walking closely with God. How Can We Practice Generosity Without Expectation?

Wake-Up Call: True Generosity and Friendship

☕ 𝕎𝔸𝕂𝔼 𝕌ℙ ℂ𝔸𝕃𝕃 ☕

Greetings in the Name of Our Lord!

Today, as we start our day, let us draw wisdom from Proverbs 19:6: “Many curry favour with a noble; all are friends of the man who has something to give.”

In this verse, we are reminded of a fundamental truth about human nature: the tendency to be drawn to those who offer us something valuable, whether it be material gifts, recognition, or support. It highlights how our relationships can often be influenced by what we have to offer rather than who we are.

Guided Meditation:

Find a quiet place and sit comfortably. Close your eyes and take a deep breath, allowing the tranquillity of the morning to envelop you. Reflect on the wisdom of today’s verse.

  1. Gratitude: Begin by expressing gratitude for the blessings you have received. Visualize each blessing as a gift that enriches your life and the lives of others.
  2. Self-Reflection: Contemplate how you interact with those around you. Are your actions motivated by genuine kindness and love, or do they sometimes reflect an expectation of receiving something in return?
  3. Generosity: Focus on the idea of giving without expectation. Imagine yourself as a source of kindness and support, not seeking favour, but simply sharing your gifts out of love and compassion.
  4. Prayerful Intention: Conclude your meditation by setting an intention for the day. Ask for guidance to act with sincerity, to be a true friend, and to value others not for what they offer, but for who they are.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father,

We come before You this morning with grateful hearts. We thank You for the many blessings and gifts You have bestowed upon us. Help us to remember that true friendship and love are not bound by what we can give but by the sincerity of our hearts.

Guide us today to be generous in spirit, to give without expectation, and to value others for their inherent worth. Teach us to build relationships grounded in genuine love and respect, not in the pursuit of favour.

As we embark on this new day, let our actions reflect Your grace and compassion. May our hearts be open, our hands be generous, and our words be kind.

In Your holy name, we pray.

Amen.

A Wake-Up Call from His Excellency, the Rt. Rev. Dr. Selvister Ponnumuthan:

Dear Beloved,

As the sun rises and illuminates the world, may it also light the path of your heart. Today’s reflection from Proverbs reminds us that while many seek favour and friendship through what they can offer, true connections are built on genuine love and selfless giving.

In your interactions today, strive to be a beacon of authentic love and kindness. Let your actions be motivated by compassion, not by what you might receive in return. By doing so, you embody the true spirit of Christ’s love, which is unconditional and ever-giving.

May your day be filled with moments of grace and opportunities to extend your love to others. Remember, it is not the gifts we bestow but the sincerity of our hearts that truly matters.

Blessings upon you as you go forth into this new day. May your heart be light and your spirit uplifted.

In Christ’s love,

His Excellency, Rt. Rev. Dr. Selvister Ponnumuthan

Conclusion:

As we embrace the day ahead, let us carry the wisdom of Proverbs 19:6 in our hearts. May our actions be driven by genuine love and our interactions be marked by sincere kindness. With these reflections and prayers, we step into today with purpose and grace.

Wake-Up Call: Discover the True Meaning of Eternal Life

Meaning of the Verse (John 17:3)

The verse, “And this is eternal life, that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent“(John 17:3), includes the essence of Christian faith. Eternal life, as described here, is not just a future promise but a present reality that begins with knowing God and Jesus Christ. This knowledge is not merely intellectual but relational—knowing God personally, experiencing His love, and living in communion with Him. It emphasizes the intimate relationship between the believer and God, through Christ, as the foundation of eternal life.

Guided Meditation and Prayer

Meditation:

  1. Find a Quiet Space: Begin by finding a quiet space where you can sit comfortably. Close your eyes and take a few deep breaths, allowing your mind and body to relax.
  2. Center Your Thoughts: Focus your thoughts on the presence of God. Imagine yourself in a peaceful place where you feel safe and loved. Visualize the light of God’s love surrounding you, bringing warmth and peace to your heart.
  3. Reflect on the Verse: Slowly bring the verse to your mind: “And this is eternal life, that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent.” Reflect on what it means to truly know God. Consider how this relationship brings life, hope, and purpose to your existence.
  4. Deepen Your Connection: As you meditate, ask yourself how you can deepen your relationship with God. What steps can you take to know Him more intimately? How can you invite Jesus Christ into every aspect of your life?
  5. Rest in God’s Presence: Spend a few moments resting in God’s presence, allowing His peace to fill your heart. Let go of any worries or fears, trusting in God’s eternal love and care for you.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, we thank You for the gift of eternal life, which begins with knowing You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom You have sent. Help us to grow in our relationship with You every day, seeking to understand Your will and to follow Your path. May we experience the fullness of life that comes from walking with You. Fill our hearts with Your peace, and guide us in our journey of faith. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

Wake-Up Call Message from His Excellency, the Rt. Rev. Dr. Selvister Ponnumuthan

Dear friends in Christ,

As we rise to greet a new day, let us take a moment to reflect on the profound words of our Lord in John 17:3: “And this is eternal life, that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent.

This verse invites us to recognize that true life, eternal life, is found not in the fleeting pursuits of this world, but in a deep, abiding relationship with God. It is through knowing Him, not just with our minds but with our hearts, that we find the purpose, peace, and joy that surpasses all understanding.

Let today be a day where you seek to know God more intimately. In every task, every conversation, and every quiet moment, invite His presence into your life. Remember, eternal life is not a distant promise but a present reality that begins with your relationship with the Lord.

May the Holy Spirit guide you, may the love of Christ envelop you, and may you walk today in the light of God’s eternal truth.

With blessings and prayers,

Rt. Rev. Dr. Selvister Ponnumuthan

Wake-Up Call: Embracing the Spirit of Life

Embracing the Spirit of Life

Good Morning!

In the early hours of the day, as we rise and prepare to embrace the opportunities before us, let us reflect on the profound wisdom found in the Bible.

Today’s inspiration comes from John 6:63:

“It is the spirit that gives life; the flesh is useless. The words that I have spoken to you are spirit and life.”

Understanding the Verse

This verse reminds us that true vitality and purpose are not found in the physical realm but in the spirit. The flesh, or our physical existence, may be limited and temporary, but the spirit—the essence of life given by God—provides true meaning and sustenance. The words of Christ, as spiritual nourishment, offer us life and guidance beyond our earthly struggles.

Guided Meditation and Prayer

Guided Meditation:

  1. Find Your Center: Sit comfortably in a quiet place. Close your eyes and take a deep breath in, feeling the air fill your lungs. As you exhale, let go of any tension or distractions.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father,

We come before You this morning with hearts full of gratitude and reverence. Thank You for the gift of Your Spirit, which brings life and purpose beyond our earthly existence. Help us to remember that it is not the physical realm that sustains us, but Your divine presence that fills us with true vitality.

Guide us in embracing the words of Christ as spiritual nourishment. Let them be a source of strength and clarity as we navigate the challenges of this day. May Your Spirit lead us in every decision, providing us with wisdom and peace.

As we step into today’s journey, grant us the courage to live according to Your divine will and the serenity to accept what we cannot change. Help us to reflect Your light and love in all our actions and interactions.

In Jesus’ name, we pray.

Amen.
