What are your morning rituals? What does the first hour of your day look like?
Within the first hour of my day, I engage in mindfulness meditation, soak in the morning sunlight, perform freehand exercises, practice yoga (including Ashwini mudra and Kapalbhati), and end with an invigorating open-air bath.

In the calm moments before sunrise, I find comfort and motivation in my morning routine. It’s a time for quiet reflection and purposeful actions that set a positive tone for the day ahead.
Let me take you through the first hour of my morning—a special time when I focus on taking care of myself and preparing for the day.
Starting the day right means giving my body the nourishment it needs.
I opt for a simple snack: a handful of almonds and walnuts paired with a warm cup of water. These small bites not only taste good but also give me a burst of energy to kickstart my day.
Including almonds and walnuts in my morning routine isn’t just about filling my stomach—it’s about reaping the health benefits they offer. Almonds are packed with Vitamin E and antioxidants, which are great for my skin and heart health. Meanwhile, walnuts are rich in Omega-3 fatty acids, which help me stay focused and alert throughout the day.
After fueling my body, I focus on staying hydrated by drinking warm water. Hydration is important for kickstarting my body’s natural processes and making sure I feel refreshed from the inside out.
With my body nourished and hydrated, I take time to practice mindfulness through meditation. Spending just 20 minutes in meditation helps me feel grounded and at peace. I also enjoy soaking in the morning sunlight for 10 minutes, which boosts my mood and energy levels.
Transitioning into movement, I spend 30 minutes practising yoga. Yoga helps me feel both physically and mentally invigorated, setting a positive tone for the rest of the day.
Finally, I indulge in an open-air bath to refresh and rejuvenate my body and mind. Immersing myself in nature’s embrace helps me feel revitalized and ready to tackle whatever the day may bring.
In a world that often feels chaotic, my morning rituals serve as anchors of stability and moments of self-care. Each intentional action—whether it’s nourishing my body, practising mindfulness, or connecting with nature—contributes to my overall well-being and helps me start the day on the right foot.
