My Journey in Public Service and Leadership
Currently, I am serving as a Consultant for the Nytt-India Project at Nytt AB Sweden, where I continue to apply my experience and expertise to impactful projects.
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working in various key roles within the government and other authorities. Notably, I acted as a one-man commission for the Kerala State Beverages Corporation Ltd., and I’ve served as a consultant for several government committees aimed at enhancing the ease of doing business in Kerala. Additionally, I’ve contributed to recommending criteria for economically weaker sections (EWS) and played an instrumental role in policy-making for the Kerala State Commission for Backward Classes and the Kerala State Sports Council.
Throughout my career, I’ve held numerous leadership positions. Worked as Special Law Secretary Government of Kerala. I served as the Private Secretary to the Honorable Minister for Labor & Excise chaired the Kerala Agricultural Workers Welfare Fund Board, and held directorial roles in welfare boards such as the Kerala Handloom Workers Welfare Fund Board and Kerala Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Fund Board. My involvement in various committees and boards, including those focused on Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) policy formulation and legal and educational reforms, has been a cornerstone of my career.
In recognition of my contributions, I was honoured with the Kerala State e-Governance Award in 2008 and nominated for the Prime Minister’s Award for Excellence in Public Administration. Additionally, I received a “Good Service Entry” for my meritorious service in the field.
On the training and international exposure front, I’ve participated in esteemed programs like the Global Intellectual Property Academy Enforcement Program and attended national training programs focused on conflict analysis, biosafety, and financial management.
My career also includes notable publications and presentations, particularly on Intellectual Property Rights and related fields, where I’ve had the opportunity to contribute to national and international conferences.
Some of my most significant contributions to government service include playing a vital role in formulating Kerala’s Intellectual Property Rights Policy, coordinating key e-Governance projects in the Law Department, and contributing to resolving issues related to the Smart City project in Kerala. I also initiated the computerization of welfare programs, making a tangible impact on public service delivery.
With experience spanning areas such as Organizational Analysis, Intellectual Property Rights Administration, General Administration, Legal and Policy Advice, and Teaching and Project Implementation, my journey has been one of continuous growth and meaningful contribution.
