Think it over
“Instead of making advance bookings for your next birth, heaven, or hell, enjoy happiness in the present life itself.”
The central message
Do not spend your entire life trying to secure happiness in an existence you hope to experience later while overlooking the happiness, love, and peace available to you today.
Live well now. Be kind. Fulfil your responsibilities. Appreciate what you have. If you believe in an afterlife, let that belief inspire you to live better in this life—not prevent you from living it fully.

That I do try to do
That’s wonderful! None of us can do it perfectly every day, but making a conscious effort to live happily in the present is what truly matters. Thank you for sharing your thoughts!
Isn’t the claim of Christianity that since we HAVE BOOKED OUT PLACE IN JEAVEN BY FAITH…we have the assurance of God that we will go there and are freed up to do good works which are prepared for us beforehand without having to work for our salvation. Christ covered that for us! Then the best thing to do, according to Ecclesiastes, is to live your life and enjoy the wife of your youth, eat, drink, work and be grateful unto God Most High-?

Of course you CAN choose to go to hell before the get-go, but why not give yourself the chance to be saved?
Thank you for sharing your perspective. I appreciate your emphasis on salvation through faith in Christ and the freedom to live joyfully, doing good works out of gratitude rather than as a means of earning salvation. I agree that life is a gift from God and that we should cherish our relationships, enjoy our daily blessings, and remain grateful to Him. For me, the heart of my post is that we should not postpone happiness while worrying about tomorrow, but live each day meaningfully, with faith, love, and gratitude. After all, today is also a gift from God!
There is wisdom in appreciating the life we have today and not taking it for granted. I believe we can enjoy God’s blessings now while keeping our hope in Jesus for what lies ahead.
Thank you for sharing this thoughtful perspective. I completely agree that we can cherish the blessings God gives us today while keeping our hope firmly rooted in Jesus. Life becomes more meaningful when we appreciate what we have, trust God for what lies ahead, and live each day with gratitude and faith.
