It’s a simple question, yet a surprisingly profound one—depending on how you choose to answer it.
In a world that equates collections with visible things—books, coins, sneakers, figurines—I’ve come to understand that not everything worth collecting fits neatly in boxes or albums. Some of our most valuable collections are intangible, yet they define who we are. As the Founder & Editor-in-Chief of Rise&Inspire, a space built on the pillars of motivation and positivity, my collections aren’t physical. They’re spiritual, emotional, and deeply purposeful.
I collect moments that transformed me—like the day I launched my first blog post, unsure who would read it. Or the moment someone across the world said, “Your words helped me get through today.” These aren’t keepsakes, but soul-shaping events. I carry them not in my pocket, but in my purpose.
I collect the wisdom that hardship brought me. The lessons I didn’t ask for but needed. Like learning that success isn’t about virality, but about showing up daily, especially when no one’s watching. These lessons don’t glitter, but they give me inner light.
